Our HOPPECKE grid | power V X is a vented, stationary lead-acid battery with liquid electrolyte. High alloy purity of the positive electrode simultaneously minimises corrosion and water consumption. The proven design of the large surface electrode provides reliable high current capacity – ideal for use in power plants and switching systems.
Product design to DIN 40738 ensures highest level of compatibility when replacing existing equipment and for integration with the extension of existing battery systems. Combination with the HOPPECKE grid | aquagen recombination system lengthens the interval between water refills to the point where no maintenance is required.

The HOPPECKE grid | power V H is an innovative, vented, lead-acid battery with liquid electrolyte for stationary operation. The special feature of the bloc series is the pocketing of the negative electrode with excellent current conductance. It assures outstanding high current capability, maximum energy density per footprint and an extremely long service life.
The main area of application for the grid | power V H is in UPS systems, power supply and substations. Adherence to DIN dimensions ensures highest level of compatibility when replacing existing equipment and for integration with the extension of existing battery systems. It substantially increases the performance of your battery system within existing battery rooms.
A further outstanding property of this lead-acid battery is the impact-resistant, transparent SAN-/ translucent PP -jar, which is extremely resistant to common cleaning agents and enables convenient monitoring of the electrolyte level. The HOPPECKE terminal system connector virtually excludes corrosion and even reduces the risk of short-circuits during installation.

It is designed for high current applications and lasts for up to 20 years. A combination of high energy density and small footprint enables existing facilities to be used in the most efficient manner. The HOPPECKE grid | power VR L battery is a sealed, stationary, lead-acid battery with fixed electrolyte. Its design principle is based on the use of gauntleted positive plates and fixation of the electrolyte by gelling. It can therefore be used horizontally in the event of limited installation space.
Its configuration with positive tubular plates and all-round protection of the active mass by woven polyester gauntlets ensures extremely high resilience. Our HOPPECKE grid | power VR X (FT) battery is based on the use of grid plates and a fibreglass mat (AGM) as a separator in which the electrolyte is fixed. Its innovative AGM technology, compact design and ideal ergonomics due to the rear handles ensure optimum and economic use.
HOPPECKE grid | power VR X (FT) batteries combine maximum energy with minimum space requirements and are therefore used especially in telecommunications and UPS applications. Standardised dimensions and the option for central degassing enable particularly high compatibility and easy installation in ETSI and 23″ racks. UL94 V-0 certification of our HOPPECKE grid | power VR X FT guarantees the highest safety even under demanding conditions.

The HOPPECKE sun | power VR L is a sealed lead-acid battery for cyclical applications. Our innovative gel technology makes it virtually maintenance-free—replenishment with water is not necessary. Use of a proven tubular plate design ensures excellent cycle stability during operation with partial discharge (partial state of charge), as in village power supplies, for example. A format proven to DIN makes it extremely versatile. The option for horizontal arrangement means the sun | power VR L makes ideal use of existing spaces. The use of HOPPECKE system connectors results in it providing increased short-circuit protection even during installation.

Fiber structure Nickel Cadmium battery system for stationary applications.
The extremely robust FNC battery was developed on the base of the proven HOPPECKE fibre structure technology. The active material is inserted into a fleece consisting of nickel-plated plastic fibres, which creates a very good and stable electrochemical bond between the components. The FNC battery therefore withstands the highest shock and vibration loads and has a long service life and cycle life even under extreme temperature conditions.

HOPPECKE FNC-VR
The FNC-VR is a valve regulated nickel-cadmium battery.
The extremely low maintenance grid FNC-VR battery is developed in line with the HOPPECKE proven fibre matrix plate technology. The addition of the special recombinant technology of this battery to the fibre plate design gives exceptional reliability in critical applications. The FNC-VR battery provides superior performance to other valve regulated nickel-cadmium technologies. Designed specifically for UPS, switchgear and other standby applications where the system must be totally reliable with minimum maintenance.
